Made a rookie mistake recently...

Made a rookie mistake recently - forgot to take photos and label everything before removing all the dead batteries for replacement (they were toast - battery switches left on by previous owner). Anyone have a engine/generator battery wiring diagram for a 1980 SRV 300 EC? I have port/starboard engines and a generator (3 size 31s) and I found a 4d house battery (which I discovered wired to stereo, charger, etc) under the helm seat foot step. My first priority is getting the engines and generator hooked up prior to launch. I was going to work through all the other wiring on amenities later (found a couple scorched wires off that 4d that are concerning). Thanks!!

The wiring diagram for those earlier Sea Ray boats was a dealership document, not included in the model specific Owner's Manual Supplement document, included w/ newer / current Sea Ray boats.

It may be that your local dealership can provide the required access.

It may be that the wiring diagram instead needs to be manually created using the brute force technique after tracing wires and referencing sub system wiring documents.

My process is to always label both ends of every wire or cable and to create wiring diagrams for new and updated systems. I also like to take lots of photographs throughout the process.

Here is an example of a wiring diagram I created for wiring I added to the boat.

Here is an example of wire marking that I implemented on my boat.
