With a summer of supporting the Mercury Racing Customer Experience Team under his belt, Racing Sales Intern Zach Pascarella headed to the Lake Of The Ozarks Street Party in Missouri on August 24 for a taste of in-person customer and fan interaction.
No stranger to boating, Zach found himself in good company and quickly picked his favorite boats from the Street Party lineup: MTI with twin 450Rs, Statement with twin 400Rs and DCB Open Bow with twin 1550s.
Joining Zach at LOTO were Rachel Czarapata, Brad Bolte and Nick Petersen from the Mercury Racing team who manned the Mercury Racing Tour Truck. A constant and steady stream of high-performance boat owners and local community members were able to visit the Tour Truck and get a hands-on look at select DTS Rigging Controls, a 1550/1350 CQ4 Sterndrive engine, and a cutaway model of the 450R outboard engine.
“The four of us were steadily asked questions about our products, specifications and a handful of technical questions,” Zach shared. “The street was loaded with beautiful works of art from the best brands in high performance boating. The number of smiles and the amount of enthusiasm from the attendees made it a memorable first LOTO experience.”
The excitement from the LOTO Street Party continues throughout the week with the Wishing On A Ride fundraiser, Poly Lift poker run, Shootout, and Super Cat 4 Kids Dinner & Live Charity Auction. The full week of events takes advantage of one of the top destinations in the country for boating and serves as one of the largest unsanctioned charity boat races.
