Hi All,

I need to replace the depth/temp transducer on my 2006 290 Sundancer. The data on the tag at the transducer is unreadable so I don't have the original information. The Sea Ray parts catalog lists it as 1690371.  I've searched on line and have found some posts saying it is 79-8M6001948 which is the Merc/Smartcraft part # for the Airmar 44-178-2-01.  I have not been able to find that documented anywhere.  Has anyone run across this before and been able to identify the correct part number?

Call Airmar 603 673-9570. [email protected]. before you call, is housing brass or plastic? Approx diameter of the thru hull? You Can get a good size estimate from the plug insert.
