I have a strange problem. I have a 2016 Sundance 310. The port engine ‘dies’ after about 30-40mts. It is not overheating (temps remain steady). It tries to start and reaches about 600rpm and then dies.If I leave it shut for about 2-3 hours, it starts up again and works. I have considered it might be overheating (but temperatures don’t go up) or a spark plug (but it works well after a few hours).

Any suggestions?

Have you tried engine treatment like Seafoam or Lucas oil. I was having a similar problem. Mine was bad gas.

I had very similar issue on my Sundancer 320. It turned out to be the coil overheating.. Replacing the coil fixed the issue.

Sounds like the fuel cooler module is clogged. Replace it.

BoardRoom is correct. There is a known problem with the fuel coolers. Paint or barnacles. Paint flaking off inside blocks the fuel and barnacles can block the cooling water. Have a mechanic check the fuel pressure and water flow.
