Anyone know if you can fix the lcd screen on my 250 SLX- VDO smartcraft tachometer?   9r domyou replace the whole tach part 1777617? 

it Worked most of the Summer, but now I Cant see/have no readings..

Sure, there are companies that repair the LCD, like this one.

The LCD has a exterior and interior polarizing film at 90° orientation to each other, as shown in the link. That film deteriorates w/ time and exposure, requiring replacement.
