Hello all. New to me 99 310 Sundancer. First time placing it in a trailer and a little worried about height clearance as I am moving it about 300 miles over highway. Legal height is 14’which it looks like we are at 13’-11” at the top of the radar tower with the GPS, radar and lights removed. How difficult are those items to remove and if need be how difficult is the tower to remove?  Thanks in advance.

I don't believe the tower is that hard. I think access the bolts through the vinyl pad on the side, take them out and it's loose. Not sure on ease of wiring removal or if you could simply fold the arch in place and strap down. If you're only moving once could you find an alternative route or go up/down ramps to avoid underpasses?

It’s my understanding overhead utility lines are to be 14’ or higher as well. It’s not just trying to avoid overpasses. It’s utility lines as well.

With the 12 foot beam you may also need WIDE LOAD permission as well

Beam is 11’3”. In Washington state you can move up to 12’ wide without a permit.
