I have a 1994 200 Overnighter I purchased this year. It has the upgraded at factory SeaStar I generation hydraulic steering. It is very nice. The manual says after I replaced the fluid and bled the system it should be 4.5 turns from hard over port to hard over starboard (or vs versa) I have a very responsive helm and getting 4.25 or so turns from hard over to hard over. SeaStar (BayStar. Teleflex through the years) has some upgrade kits on their website I believe. Maintainance is very easy as well.
