I have a 2003 Sundancer 300 with NO Generator and three batteries two in parallel and one stand alone.  I have been told two different descriptions as to which is house and which is starting.  Can someone tell me which are starting and which are house.

Thank You

Are all three batteries the same type and size? Some are listed as deep cycle and some as deep cycle starting. My opinion would be the two parallel are house batteries to run systems off hook and the single would be your starting battery.

If be very surprised if the single battery is not your starting battery.

Disconnect the ground wire on the single battery and try and start your engine. If it starts then the parallel set is for starting.

The two in series are you house batteries but you can verify that by disconnecting the single battery and try to start. Would assume you also have a cross over so you can use the house batteries for starting if main battery is dead.
