Is there a shop that repairs or replaces the Sea Ray tachometer? Mine seems to like to position itself at 6000rpm no matter the actual throttle position.

Flounder Pounder has the tachs and I know there are shops that do repair them but new ones are cheap enough so I'd just replace it.

Always start cheap. Remove the display cover around the instrument cluster. Then spray a good industrial cleaner on the tach connections and clean, working the contacts back and forth. Be sure to reset @ 8 cylinders or whatever your power is. Then see if the tach works properly.
