Hello All,

I am new to this Searay owners club.  I just purchased a 1989 270 Amberjack that is in very good condition.  My last boat had an anchor windlass but this Searay does not.  I am looking for any info/specs etc... on fitting this classic Amberjack with a new bow pulpit (possibly using Plasteak) and a strong anchor windlass.

I too have an Amberjack. For years my daughters had been the windlass but they have moved away. I’ll be interested in the feedback you receive.

Hi Fishtank, I have made no progress on the anchor windlass research and boat is heading into storage for the winter. Will be researching during the winter months. Will post what I find.
