Waited my entire life to purchase a Montauk. Finally found a pristine 2007 150. Looking for advice on best cleaning and care products as well as any resources for aftermarket add ons or accessories that are great quality that you can't get from Whaler.

Congrats on your whaler purchase. It is a fantastic boat!!! For cleaning cushions check out my link below.
I use to have a marine cleaning business, and I can tell you in my opinion one of the best products on the market is: knights marine spray nine. This is powerful stuff. It will clean the close nit non-skid on the whaler. I keep 3 gallons of this stuff on hand all the time. It cleans everything. Use plenty of water too! You can dilute It if you want, but I usually use it without. Get yourself a few scrub brushes. a small hand held one, and a long handled one with both a soft head and a stiff head. https://shurhold.com/collections/shurhold-system-nested makes a great product for this.
For wax I use either 3m cleaner wax, or starbrite MaxiWax (cleaner wax). no need to compound anything unless you are seeing white chalky haze. Get yourself both a bag of cotton towels and microfiber towels. If you use a buffer, make sure you don't not have the setting to high, or you will burn the wax into the gelcoat. Anymore questions just hit me back. p.s. don't forget your safety equip on the boat. https://themarineminute.com/the-safe-boater/

Thanks for the info! I will take your advice for sure. Unfortunately, I noticed the only flaw in the boat today. I guess you'd call it one of the Bunk boards....well it must have come loose while trailering and from bouncing up and down in the wind the end that is under the boat made a small gouge in the finish. Something I can fix myself? Can I use the boat and fix later since we only have a few more months here? If it's something I can handle, I'd rather take care of it before it gets worse. ugh..

For now, I would apply some marine tex to this. If you have never done any fiberglass work this is the easiest stuff to use. Can get it from amazon, its a 2 part just get the plain white. dont mix any more than you will need to smooth over the repair.
