Raymarine VHF radio black box base transmitter location BW 320 Vantage

Hi Guys ,

I have just bought a 302 Vantage and the Mic has just gone down - it lights up but nothing else - I dont know if its the handpiece thats faulty or the hidden VHF blackbox but cant find that - any help locating much appreciated - I was going to clean the contacts but didnt want to buy a new mic as so expensive and if the box has gone down would probably replace with a similar remote Icon M400BBE . Is this a Raymarine VHF unit? 

I can't stress enough that you simply replace the entire unit. If it is the Ray Marine Unit.  In my opinion, I have never thought they have made a good unit.  I just bought a 2022 33' Outrage that had this wireless ray marine unit.  I took it out ASAP and put in this:

This unit is most likely too large for your dash.  I would recommend this ICOM unit. https://www.icomjapan.com/lineup/products/IC-M510/

This unit also has AIS with DSC.  I am a big fan of AIS receiving and transmitting.
