210 Montauk Bow Tie Upgrade Construction

I just took delivery of a 2023 210 Montauk with the optional bow tie upgrade and I’m trying to find build details of the bow tie. It has 3/4-10 threads with a eye nut and an acorn nut inside the anchor locker. Does anyone have any info on the part itself? Is it a 3/4” u bolt or is the threaded portion welded to the exterior plate? I’ve contacted Whaler for info and asked my dealer but

I did reach out to them and they said they couldn’t provide any other information other then what’s on the website or the manual. They suggested posting on the BW forums. There’s nothing in the manual and not having luck on the forums. Really ticks me off. I’ll try emailing tech support next if that’s possible. Thanks for looking though!

Seems pretty lame that the manufacturer can't (won't?) help when it's a brand new boat.  I had a similar issue with a new car once.  After several emails and phone calls, I went to the salesman and had him call the manufacturer while I stood there. The dealer should be your advocate here and push for an answer.
