Did you know that Mr. Fisher graduated from Harvard and his first prototype was a small foam and epoxy sailboat? After consulting his friend Ray Hunt, they decided to focus on outboards and showed the first 13' model at the Boston Boat show in 1958. The company was originally known as the Fisher-Pierce Company and was founded in Braintree, MA with just two employees. This picture is just three short years later. Visit https://www.bostonwhaler.com/about-boston-whaler.html to learn about how much farther we've come, and some milestones along the way!

hello….do you know if HIN’s were assigned to the first whalers?  My 1958 registration has #7507 in the HIN spot.  Thanks!
