I have a 1997 Sundancer 330DA.  It came equipped with a built-in vacuum.  Can anyone tell me where the filter is located for cleaning (if there is a filter).

This link shows the Beam BM145 central vacuum that Sea Ray installed on my boat.

This link shows the parts breakdown, including the vacuum bags. (Scroll down)

When I purchased replacement bags, it included a replacement filter for the motor.

Hey Wingless:

Thanks for the response. The vacuum sea ray installed is different from what you have. After fooling around I was able to reveal the vacuum and found other problems. I bit the bullet and have ordered a dirt Devil CV1500 which appears to be ab;e to fit nicely into the compartment now containing the original.

Again..thanks for the response

Glad to help.

That Dirt Devil CV1500 looks like a nice system.

The footprint is significantly different from my Beam BM145, so it wouldn't drop-in nicely into my application, without significant changes. I'm glad it works for yours.

My Beam system had issues years ago, so I rebuilt it and this has been a workhorse since.
