I keep getting this message and have to shut down and restart every time. I replaced the steering actuator last year at great expense and am still getting these error messages. I always let everything warm up until I touch the steering wheel and rarely use the joystick. This is getting very frustrating when the dealer doesn't have answers except to replace expensive parts and it still happens. Boston Whaler and Mercury need to figure this out.
