Freezing weather operations

2023 Montauk 210 with Mercury Verado V-6 200 hp; will it completely drain the cooling water after fresh water flushing the engine? Kept in dry, unheated boatel storage. Manual says yes, dealer service recommended winterizing. Anyone have trouble with frozen, broken parts in the cooling water system? I want to routinely use the boat during winter here in SE Virginia.

Hello sir, 

If the boat is on a trailer, make sure your motor is left down so water drains out. There is no fogging to do on a 4 stroke. 

For your live-well, if you have one, either blow it out with air or put in antifreeze. i would also recommend that if you dont have a battery maintainer, 110v get one installed.
