Trolling motors

I'm purchasing a new 2024 170 Montauk, looking for advise on a trolling motor. I ordered the fishing package with a 115 Mercury.

I'll be fishing the Detroit River and inland lakes. I'll also have a 24v systems to power the trolling motor. Big decision and want to get it right! 

Leaning towards a Minn Kota brand.

I'm on year 6 with a MK Terrova, and fish the Detroit River 8 months out of the year.  It's been great.  

Spend the extra money on integration (Hummingbird) and latest sonar.

I am also purchasing a Montauk 170 fishing in coastal creeks and rivers near Charleston SC. Any recommendation on length and thrust of a trolling motor would be appreciated.
