I did not know that it is Sea Ray's recommendation to not run on both batteries. I always run on both. I switch to one when anchored and have the stereo playing. That way I do not have to worry about running the battery down.

When we took delivery of a new SPX210 sterndrive in December the dealer told us it very common to use gear oil when new. I had to add a little in the beginning but it has been fine since.
