backlight strip on sundancer 340 2001

Hi everyone, I'm having trouble getting a new backlighting strip to work.. the old strip had 4 wires  and the new unit that i bought from fpmarine has a transducer with 2 wires. How do connect these (2) wires? Any help would be appreciated.
