I don’t know what paint would work but an idea I had was , were I ever needing to do this, is to make one in carbon fibre matting with epoxy resin. Just in case you feel ambitious
My PO made it himself, mould, fibreglass etc, custom stainless struts, then the clears of course, this is in a 400db so it’s quite a piece, most owners would not have the skills but it proves it can be done, you just need an expert to make it
My po did this. I don’t know what he did but he did say it was a total pita to do . I can’t even get the flyscreen out as that needs work . Sometimes the wheels on sliding doors can be adjusted from either end with a Phillips screwdriver, to retract ...
I’ll be interested to know how you go , I can see the latches on FP that were fitted to later models which have curved corners but yours and mine are rectangles. I’m missing the little snib lock / latch
