The power steering is usually run off the starboard engine which causes an increase in fuel consumption..Also, if you have 2 gas tanks and a generator, the generator usually runs from the starboard tank
Have a 2004 amberjack each engine draws from its own tank. The generator draws from the starboard. Also the power steering is on the starboard so you use more fuel.
