Rub Rails maintenance

What is everyone using for their Rub rails? Basically to maintain it in good state, no to recover it just to protect from sun and salt.

hi there, Capt. 

Step one:  I use marine spray-nine. 

Step two: I often use vinyl sealer like armor all, which will lock in your black color for a good while.

I used Interlux 202 on a rag and wiped the rub rail down then a spray wax and it looked like new.
