With Spring nearly here, are you planning your first day on the water yet?

Do you live somewhere where getting out on the water and boating is a year-round activity OR are you still seeing snow when you look out the window OR maybe you're somewhere in the middle?

When are you typically getting out on the water for the first time?

Anything you're doing right now to prepare for the new season?

Let us know, we'd love to hear from you!

Here on Virginia's rivers flowing to the Chesapeake Bay, there's something interesting going on every day of the year, straight through the winter.  I take my Boston Whaler (Montauk 17 w/ Mercury 60 EFI) in for annual service for a couple of weeks in late January, and I avoid any obviously gnarly days, but otherwise, she and I are out on the water twelve months a year, fishing, looking at waterfowl, learning the rivers.  I write for several outdoor magazines and blogs.
