Hello,
I have a 2004 Sundancer 280. Yesterday my speedometer needle moved to just over 55mph and stayed there. It now immediately goes there when the unit is powered up.
Has anyone seen this before? If so what was the repair.

Thanks

This happens anytime your out Drives comes in contact with a piece of wood or debris. There is a small hole on the lower unit that is clogged. You need to take a small drill bit and clean it out. Do not use a drill. Just roll it around with your fingers. Once you get through the wood the pressure will release and the odometer will go back to 0. If you have twins clean both out Drives because it's hard to tell which is connected to odometer. Found this video, it's not the best but explains the hole location and drill bit technique .
