Just upgraded to a Garmin 7610 beginning of season. In-Hull transducer installed with varying results. Not good at higher speeds, loses signal. Was very positional when finding the "sweet spot" where to mount it. If you are doing any fishing, I would recommend a Thru Hull Believe you will be much more satisfied.
