This is me answering my own question now that I know. (somewhat). I've turned on the the hot & cold water facet in the head and galley at the same time & let fresh water fill up via my water hose. After about 5 minues I turned the water hose off and let the water tank on the boat run somewhat empty. Then turned the water hose on again for about 15 minutes. After letting the water run out and refilling and then adding a water solution from the marina. The hot water smell was gone. I will do the same every 3 to 4 months. We are so glad the hot water smell is gone.
