I have a 2003 420 Sundancer with gas engines. Over this weekend had to change both port batteries, as 12v lights were flickering, 12v gauge inside was pulsing (11.6 to 12.3VDC). Tuned off battery charger, checked batteries, port side read 11.6vdc., srtdb. read 12.6vdc. With new batteries panel meter still showed only 12.4vdc. Checked all batteries with charger on port 12.2vdc, srtdb. 12.6vdc, gen 13.4vdc. Looks like I need a new charger. I can not find any reference numbers for the charger, any ideas or replacement info. Have not called my local Searay (Marinemax) yet, closed on Sunday

I replaced one of mine with a ProNautic by Promanier. It’s a 24 volt, but they make several 12 volt

Voltages when charging for both shore power and engine alternators should be around 14.4v at the battery. Dash gauges should read 14 or so. A 12v reading is dead flat. A fully charged battery is 12.8v. A charging battery should be upto 14.4 but can float between 13-14.4 if its a smart charger with Lead acid (wet) battery.
