I purchased a 2017 Sea Ray Sundancer 26 in March 2019, and have noticed i get water entering the grated screens on the bilge vents. I am surprised and somewhat disappointed about the design of these bilge vents. When we get heavy rain, there can be up to 20 litres of water in the bilge. When there is no rain, no water issues. I have investigated point of ingress and it is definitely through the grated screens of the bilge vents.
Are there any shrouds available that can be fitted over the grated screens, to minimise the amount of rain water ingress ? I note some models of Sundancer do have shrouds fitted, but mine doesn't.
