1988 Sea Ray Seville 180BR - HELP!
My boat just had extensive service and is in great condition. It starts and idles great, I throttle up to get her up on plane, and after 20-30 seconds, she stalls. Starts right up, but repeats again. I found that I can idle around at 1200rpm all day. If I go a bit faster around 2200rpm, she will run for a few minutes then just stall out. No sputtering or anything, just quits. My mechanic thought it was the shifter cable and installed one, now he thinks its a fuel problem. I've also been told it might be the shift engine interrupt switch. Any clues out there? Thanks!
