I would like to wake surf behind my 2015 270 Sun Deck with 8.2 L bravo 3. Is this boat good for wake surfing? Any tips on drive up or down? Trim tab settings? Surf port or starboard? Stack passengers in fore or aft? fresh water

Wake surfing with a stern drive is usually not a good idea.
All "wakeboard" boats are usually inboard/vdrive or have something like Volvo penta's forward drive.
These keep the prop well away from the rider

Not a problem.
I think the concern is that if you're surfing, and are coming towards the boat and fall, you could fall right into the prop.

Sea Ray recently came out with a wake sports boat, the SLX-W 230. it has the new Mercruiser towsports v-drive engine.

Definitely find a friend with a wake surfing boat. Their prop is under the boat instead of off the back like our Sundecks. Sea Ray has a new SLX wake surfing boat but it is really pricey!
