I just bought a 1990 160 bowrider. I want to install rod holders for fishing in the Chesapeake Bay. Can they be screwed into the gunwales between the rear seat and the outboard motor? If so is that strong enough that the rod holders won't pull the screws out?
A picture of where you would like to install them would greatly assist with any advice to be given. That being said, where are you located on the Chesapeake? I am in Solomons MD.
