Has anyone got any knowledge or, better yet, experience, with "Marine Power" replacement engines?

  I am experiencing extreme delay in getting engines from Mercruiser, & considering using them. What's the general opinion??

I replaced one of my engine's about 3 years ago and had no issues you maybe seeing delays do to covid.
