I have a 2002 Sea ray Sundancer 300...how do i check to verify if the Mercathode system is working properly? I am seeing corrosion not just on my cathodes but on other steel and aluminum parts of my lower legs.

Good question, also if you shut off both battery switches, does it cut off power to mercathode? I have a 2006 320 and have already replaced both lower bravo 3s due to extreme corrosion. I cannot find where the mercathode control is in the engine bay??

Mercathode control is mounted on the engine either in front or on top somewhere. The test for Mercathode is fairly simple and you can find it in a Mercruiser manual or online. When you test the Mercathode be sure to do the test in your slip. Mercahtode is on no matter what position the battery switch is in.
