I have a 2009 350 Sundance with twin 496 mag. My port side motor has a ticking sound has anyone had this issue?

Check your belt n pullys, check your oil and pressure. Does it go away with more rpms? I get one when I first start up. After engine warms a bit, goes away. It was a pully.

I had similar issue with 4.3s, it was the tensioning pulley of the serpentine belt.....

I removed tensioner and idler pulley and added grease to the bearings, ticking and squeal (at start) went away.

You can get a new pulley at advance auto stores. Saves the “marine jack up price”
