I have a 2018 260 Sundancer and i'm having a lot of trouble with the trim tabs. The boat is totally unstable when i have 7+ people on it. Any tips for how to use trim tabs?

1) Keep fuel tanks > half full helps with stability (bottom weight)
2) Trim tabs should be "tweeked", a little at a time on the low side. Do the tweeking when passenger load is evenly balanced.
3) Of course, windage, speed and load shifting require readjusting.
4) Ensure proper trim tab operation - full range on each.
5) I try to avoid wind direct on the beam on windy days. A little zig zagging on course helps. Good luck - have fun.

Mine is way older, ‘03, but I try and make sure all passengers are spaced out and balances as possible. Also when I trim the outdrive, unless there is a lot of wind or people moving about, which I do not tolerate, I use them sparingly as needed. Only adjust one star atime and small burst as to not over correct.

as your coming up... trim the OD up to the 1st mark... tweak tabs a little at time... trim is the key
