I have a '98 330 Sundancer and was running my generator recently. The alarm indicator helm went off with a generator off light showing, even though the generator was still running. Anyone else had this problem before, what caused it and how do you fix it?

The Westerbeke 7.0kW BCGB generator on my 2000 380DA has exhaust temperature, oil pressure and water temperature switches wired in series, that stop the gen during a fault from any of those sensor switches.

The gen also has a secondary oil pressure switch wired for an external alert.

If your generator has a similar setup then my speculation is something on that secondary oil pressure monitor was not happy, such as intermittent wiring connection.
