On a 2005 Sundancer 280 - has anyone found a good long-term solution to the door sliding cabin door latch?  I was in rough water the first time the small screws pulled out of the port side wall releasing the HEAVY door on me while underway...  So, I did what any handy guy would do, assessed the situation and put in slightly larger screws and it held for quite some time.  Now, while underway yesterday, the same thing happened.  Wondering if anyone has figured out a better longer-term fix for this issue?  It's such a heavy door pulling on the poor latch with each bounce and heave in rougher water!  Thanks in advance.

put them back in dipped Super Glue. Worked on some of my canvas snap points that pulled out of the fiberglass.

Try mixing up some marine Tex epoxy fill the holes, use it as a bedding then screw it down. Stuff becomes very strong.

Fill, re-drill, then screw in? Will try it – bound to be stronger than the factory setup. Thank you!
