Hello there

I have a 2008 260 Sundancer with about 203 hours. Ran out or low on gas and now it stalls and has no power. Changed all the fuel filters and separators. Is it a prime problem or did bebris get stirred up and causing restrictions somewhere? It looses fuel pressure when it will not start. Possible fuel pump module issue?

Generally speaking, electric fuel pumps rely on the fuel to keep them cool and lubricated. Any air entering them can cause the vanes to crack or shatter. I would start with a complete test of the pump, meaning flow rate and pressure, not just a pressure test. If you know that you are loosing pressure, then I would start with the pump. I'm uncertain if this pump has a separate pressure regulator, but if you are going that far, you might as well replace the pump... Just through another $1000 st it...

For those interested, here is a link to how a pump works. (note the missing teeth on the gear): https://www.motorauthority.com/news/1111173_this-is-how-your-fuel-pump-works
