I have a 1990 310 Sundancer with a bad fuel gauge on the starboard tank. How do you get to the sending unit?

I just had the dealer where I bought mine install a new gage, I'll ask them how they did it. but I think the just unplugged and replaced with new ( not a sea ray brand buy the way)

On my 390 MY the sending units are under the carpet. Look directly above the sending units from the ER, u should see where the cutouts are. There is a lot of info on testing sending units on the web. My issue wound up being a loose ground wire, with some corrosion where the ground wire connects to the boat ground wire.

The sending unit is mounted on top of the tank close to side of hull. Seat and hood had to be removed as it is long part.
