I have a 1996 250 Sundancer  The steering is not easy to turn. It's really tough without the engine on and somewhat easier with the engine on. How easy should it be in both situations or do I need a new cable or have the cable flushed with a cleaning solution.

On my 2010 310 had to replace rack and cables. World of difference. Check power steering fluid and pump if you have first.

I have a 2001 260 br. Had a similar issue, replaced steering cable. Marina had a hard time tracking one down, found one in Kansas, never came. Called SeaRay, had 46 in stock. Save some time go to SeaRay first.
