They would most certainly have put in a transducer as part of the GO9, even the cheapest of transducers will have very accurate depth where it counts the most (like under 600 feet). The only thing you may want to do is ask if the depth has been offset from the transducer mounting depth depending on where it is mounted on the hull (i.e. if the transducer is 2' below water line, the offset will add 2' to the depth to reflect true depth). Ask your dealer during the commissioning sea trial.
