I have a 1986 Searay 390 express and have a few hull blemishes to repair. I am planning on using the spectrum factory matched gel coat but struggling to find out the color name of my gel coat. Searay corporate customer service wasn’t any help as the boat is over 10 years old. Any one have any solutions or description of the gel coat colors from this year? The boat is definitely not white....more of a creamy beige color.
The color used back then was called Oyster. You should be able to order the Spectrum color. Of course, even if you got the OEM color, you may have to tint the gelcoat to accommodate for age of the area.
