I have a 1985 28 foot Sundancer and need a part for the engine (7.4L). I can't find the engine serial number anywhere and that's the only way to find the part (that I'm aware of). I was told it is on the block by the starter, on the flame arrestor and on the stern drive. It's neither. I know it's a 7 digit number. Any help?
On my 2000 380DA w/ the 454 MAG MPI Horizon engines, the serial number label is riveted to the block, on the side, near the starter, near the stack of ground cables on the stud.
