I just posted on the main feed so this is a duplicate because I saw there is a pre 1995 page.... we have a 1991Sundancer 280 with twin 350s. It's been great all summer. However I have a buzzer that wont shut off unless I kill the starboard motor. It is the same noise as when I have the key turned but motor off indicator.. I have also heard it randomly when the key is out and motors off. Any ideas? Thank you all in advance!

The boat has a system alarm, monitoring important systems. These include oil pressure and water temperature on both engines and the generator.

If the dash gauges show acceptable temperature and pressure, but the alarm sounds on the starboard engine, then it may be a bad alarm switch, bad wiring or poor electrical connection.

On my boat I had to snip off the push-on switch connectors to replace those w/ crimp on ring tongue connectors, retained w/ nuts and washers. That change resolved a similar problem on my boat.
