I need a 30 amp AC main breaker for my 1985 Sundancer control panel, it is a triple breaker with a single handle in the center! any ideas from the community?? thank you, Thomas

The manufacturer suggests the IAG series breaker as a replacement for this obsolete part.

Why is it a three pole breaker? Can the boat be properly and safely rewired to use a two pole breaker?

This one at Amazon is the only IAG666 three pole 30A breaker that I found in stock.

I have not been able to verify the specific configuration for the application.

The part number for the previously linked Amazon 3 pole 30A breaker is: IAG666-1-41-30.0-01.

The -41 signifies: 400Hz Short Delay.

The correct part should be -61 50/60Hz Short Delay, or even -61 50/60Hz Long Delay.

No idea what would happen using that Amazon 400Hz part in a 60Hz application, but my recommendation is to not use that 400Hz Amazon part.

This company in Israel shows two of the IAG666-1-61-30.0-Q-01 three pole 30A 50/60Hz short delay breakers in stock. This has the Q option which means APG Style Fat Handle. No joy locating info on that handle. My speculation is this would be a cosmetic difference from existing to replacement.
