My son just purchased a 1988 268 Weekender. Strange that this forum shows the hull number to be for a Sundancer. So that's strange. There are some issues we need help with. Both outdrives spin the same direction. I thought with twin engines that one turns opposite the other. #2...the starboard side outdrive seems to lack hydraulic lift. In fact, while on the trailer only that outdrive can be easily hand moved up and down. However, the trailer mode switch activates it to the full up position. How do I find the issue for this? #3...we really need an owner's manual for this. Where can we dig that up? Along with manuals for other stuff such as the 'fridge, a/c unit, head system, trim tabs (not working...) and such.
This Sea Ray is in great shape and we want to keep it running right. A few minor issues that need resolution.
