We are new owners of 1988 Sundancer 268 too. I have a question about yours and others....does the engine hatch have hinges> ours does not and requires lifting the entire hatch cover off completely. It's heavy and seems like something is not right....there do not appear to be any holes where hinges may have once been attached.
