Anyone else having electrolysis issues with their Merc Alpha 1? 2016
My boat is just one year old and the fin "skeg" is already showing lots of it. In a lake. Has aluminum anodes on it. My concern is whether Merc is using cheap aluminum these days. I also have a small jon boat with a 1992 Merc 9.9 and they are about 8' apart in the water tied to our dock and not a spot on the 9.9 yet the Alpha has lots already.
