If your talking about the factory canvas that snaps on. Yes at slower speeds. If your hitting the interstate....get a solid cover. And intstal tightly

If you have the mooring type cover then it is safe to tow with. The cover may scuff your bow some from wind hitting it. I bought a new 19 spx yesterday and trailered it home on the highway just fine.

I have no problem with the mooring cover on while towing.

I always put the mooring cover on while towing (for longer distances) - it stops loose stuff (pillows, etc.) from flying out!

I see people commented before i got a chance... Sea Ray says you are suppose to travel with cover on boat.. i am currently a center piece of carpet short. Ripped some of the snaps out of the floor on the way home from getting some warranty work done. Thats when they said all travel should be done with cover on. Not to mention the seat cushion over the built in cooler wont stay down and all ice is melted by the time you put the boat in the water.
